With an easier and faster registration process, registrations of .cz domain names have rapidly increased. The prices of .cz domain names are also cheaper. There are now 414,722 domain names registered. In the six months since the introduction of the new registration system, registrations increased by 60 per cent compared to the previous six months.
“The objective of the new system was to make the .CZ domains available for as many people as possible. It is apparent now that we are succeeding in achieving this goal. We expect the number of registrations to gradually rise in the close future; the last three months definitely support this trend. We currently register about 14,000 .CZ domains per month,” explained Ondřej Filip, executive director of the CZ.NIC association.

Yes, the .cz domains are now (about 50%) cheaper (but still more expensive that .com’s!!!) and the system is a bit easier (but only a bit) but still much more complicated than gTLDs, so I would not call it “as easy as possible”. Be glad that you don’t know/need the .cz registration system…
